Canning beans ingredients

• 1 pound dried beans (Small Red, Black, Black-eyed peas

• Broth/Water: around one gallon

• Optional

• Canning salt: 1/4 teaspoon per pint, 1/2 teaspoon per quart

• Dry herbs of choice

• Meat: Sausage, bacon, smoked meat

Makes: 6 pints / 3 quarts
